CONTENT OWNERSHIP, RIGHTS, AND USAGE

 
  • By providing content for the 1,000 Hours of Outrage project, creators have warranted that their content does not infringe any third party’s rights, and that any necessary permission from all relevant third parties has been obtained. At the discretion of the creator, content submitted may include copyrighted material in such a manner as permitted under Fair Use Laws. Any liability associated with copyrighted content presented with the assumption of protection of Fair Use Laws will be born exclusively by the creator and not by the 1,000 Hours of Outrage project or its sponsoring entities.

  • All content creators have affirmed that submitted content is of their own authorship and does not infringe or violate third party rights, including intellectual property rights.  1,000 Hours of Outrage claims no liability for any rights infringement that may occur as the result of any third party content that appears on this site. 

  • The 1,000 Hours of Outrage Project makes no claim of ownership to the Content or the underlying images or artwork in that Content.  By submitting Content to 1000 Hours of Outrage,  creators grant the Project a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, distribute, modify, copy, display, and create derivative works of the Content.  Creators have provided 1000 Hours of Outrage permission to attribute the Content using the name provided when submitting the Content.

  • Content creators for the 1,000 Hours of Outrage project  have consented to the use of their content in a variety of formats, including on any or all of the Project’s digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, web site, etc.), in one or more articles, storytelling materials, or public relations pieces that may be published about 1000 Hours of Outrage,  and in any advertising, publicity, or other materials that may be used to promote and publicize 1000 Hours of Outrage.  

  • Creators have acknowledged that content submitted to 1000 Hours of Outrage will likely be shared and reinterpreted by users of social platforms and the Internet, both on the 1000 Hours of Outrage platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, web site, etc.) and on other digital channels not controlled or operated by the Project.  The Project is not responsible for liabilities associated with any third party uses of the Content.

  • It is the sole and exclusive discretion of the Project if a submittal is deemed offensive.  1000 Hours of Outrage reserves the right not to use or publish Content that does not follow the project’s guidelines.

  • If you wish to report any issues concerning content that appears on this site, you may do so by emailing using the form provided on the Contact page.
