About the 1,000 Hours of Outrage Project

Beginning on September 23rd for a total of 1,000 hours - every hour on the hour - 1,000 Hours of Outrage posted a visual response to a total of 1,000 outrageous policies, appointments, statements, rollbacks, untruths, etc. that Trump and his administration have inflicted on America over the past four years.  These Outrages were expressed through the voices of the very people that the president has spent the last four years denying, denigrating, disempowering and deporting.  All artwork for the project was created by artists and designers across the nation who responded to facts that were provided to them from verified journalistic and research sources.

About Us

The Creative Resistance is a group of organizers, activists, artists, media makers, and friends who create visual media and graphic design and join GOTV efforts to win progressive races, both in New York and beyond.  The group helped catalyze the movement to oust the corrupt IDC from the New York State Senate with their groundbreaking video Lulu Land, and followed up with a complete campaign of media that contributed to the defeat of 6 of the 8 IDC members.

In 2020, we partnered with The People PAC & Future Now Fund to flip 90 key state legislative seats across the country and produced the ambitious 1,000 Hours of Outrage campaign.
